A daily check-in app for people who live alone — and for the people who worry about them.
Check in once a day by tapping one button. Snuggy reminds you an hour before your chosen time and again ten minutes before, so it is easy not to forget. If you still have not checked in, Snuggy notifies the person you named and asks them to call you.
The person you name does not need the app, and does not need a second phone. Nothing is worn, and there is nothing to charge.
You can leave notes that matter if somebody has to come round: which tablets you take and when, where the spare key is, and how to look after your pet. The things an ambulance crew or a neighbour would otherwise have to guess.
Alongside the daily check-in you can keep a short list of your own reminders — morning tablets, feeding the dog, an appointment on Thursday.
Large text, one question per screen, and a single green button on the main screen. Setting it up takes about a minute.
If you give a phone number for your contact, Snuggy may send them a text message: once as a test when you add them, and then only if you miss a check-in. Full details, including how to stop them, are on the SMS messaging page.
